Start with a small kite or a trainer, then go for bigger when you are become a competent kite flyer.   There are many places in Atlantic Canada where you can fly a kite. Start flying your kite at your local beach. When you are competent flying your kite, then check the tide and bring your landboard or your buggy. Take your skis or snowboard during the winter and fly your kite on frozen lakes. Then go kiteboarding in the ocean during the summer. The fun never stops!
