Here is what our customers say about us: Thank you very much for the newsletter, this is great ! Nice to see someone is encouraging outdoor sports with the best of equipment. Keep me posted of on any planned events this winter. I am just starting at kite skiing and looking forward to lakes freezing. Thanks for the try at the Blokart this summer at Lawrencetown. It was a blast. Regards Kevin
Hi! I have forwarded some pictures of the hobie. We have had great weather and lots of fun! Thanks Lori
The Quest fisherman is still taking an Annapolis valley beating! It handles and tracks extremely well in all but gale conditions, and laughs at Bay of Fundy chop and swells. I highly recommend putting in at Cape Scot at high tide! I’ve attached a picture for you page, use it if ya want if not..oh well, there will be more. The picture was taken at North Twin Lake in Kings County, and it just shows ya what happens when you lend your yak to a fly-fisherman! The guy fighting the fish, (hooked into a decent sized bass) was using a two weight bamboo (he hand crafts them himself) rod! Dave
Just wanted to let you know we had a great time with the Hobie Cat on PEI this summer. Flipped it just once when I got too far forward on the wrong wing seat. Interesting how quickly it happened. We had no trouble getting it back on track and it was a good learning experience. The boat handled great and we enjoyed it very much. We look forward to next season. Thank you again for you assistance and courtesy. Jeff
I absolutly love the Hobie. One of the best things I have done. John
We have been having a great time with the Getaway. Finally got the art of tacking it down. We had it out on the Northumberland Strait, where our cottage is located, great stable boat. It's been quite easy getting it in and out of the water with the cat trax. Wish we had more holiday time! Having fun Gordon
We sailed! It was wonderful. On Saturday, the winds were light but steady. All three of us got to go. Even Ivy, at just 9 years old, gave it a try. She did great! She even gybed. Gracefully.
Sunday was windier. We got to feel what it's like to go really fast. And what it feels like to capsize, which we both did a few times!
The ice was rough enough that we had great traction. We rarely skidded at all, unless we did it on purpose by turning really quickly. You'd only need the runners if the ice were glassy smooth. Maybe we'll get them for next year.
Thanks for introducing us to such a wonderful sport!
Chantel, Ivy, and Zak
The boat is awesome! Been out in in almost every day since I got it. Finally flipped it last night haha!
